Today we shared a poem called Walking the Dog.  We put the poem in our poem folders.  We looked for hidden messages in the poem.  Here are some questions you can ask your child.

1.  Where does the lady walk her dog? How do you know this?
2.  How many times does the dog go swimming?  How do you know this?
3.  What does saunter mean?  What word helps you know what the word might mean?
4.  Who should be tired, the dog or the lady?  Why do you think this?
5.  What is the W word?
6.  Why do you think the lady says the W word instead of the word itself?
