Messages from the Classroom…
Goal setting learning conversation week. Last chance to book an appointment for the 8th, 9th or 10th of March.

Look out for passwords coming home soon for Sumdog a great interactive math website that your child can use for the year to improve their Math skills and speed.  It is a very clever site which adjusts to your child’s level.  So if other children or adults use it gives teachers incorrect reports and does not allow your child the opportunity to improve their skills.  Please allow your child time to use this great programme at home.

Messages from the Classroom…   Another great week in the classroom even though the weather was a bit up and down.  Spelling words will come home in spelling note books this week.  Some
children are working with Sarah Kilkolly in Room 17 or Ingrid Cooper in Room 18 or me in our class.  Children have been tested and grouped according to their learning needs.  Spelling skills are taught.  If your children learns the words quickly, talk about what other words you might find the smaller words in.
For example   it  can be found in itself             run in runnng, runs, but you say ran in past tense.
