Financial Literacy - visit in school about saving, spending, wants and needs

GYMNASTICS we learnt about balance, landing, body position and movement.

Instructions and measurement

First we followed instructions to make paper planes.  Great to see children supporting others who were having problems.

We went outside for testing.  Some planes needed adjustments and every now and again a gust of wind made things tricky.

We measured out 1 metre markers on the concrete and predicted how far our planes would fly.

After predicting and measuring distance with metre rulers.  We flew our planes for fun!

We had loads of fun and learnt about measuring length.

Mother duck and 9 ducklings enjoyed our deck.

Mummy duck taught her ducklings how to jump and land safely.
